The first dropshipper I ever had, I thought was going to be my only and main one. It looks like dropshipper number one was never to be. I don't think I will be able to re-load their products on my site. It is now three months and they have not displayed the product types of the nature I need.
When I found this dropshipper, I was in a hurry, and picked a dropshipper from the search engine that was on page number three. They advertised a large amount of product and there was a large amount in the product type I needed. It was an very attractive looking site. I was accepted right away with a low one-time payment. I was on my way.
I had bought myself a few estores. The estore was set-up, I would learn to navigate and complete it. I did not know it would take so much time to complete it; it was like a whole new computer program. Now it was taking a long time to find the right dropshipper! The search goes on and on. I'm glad I knew what product I wanted to sell so I did not have to take time brainstorming.
After I found my dropshipper, it was then I read a few articles that suggested I should look-to find a dropshipper on a review list, and rated well. Maybe my dropshipper could have worked out, if he had not liquidated his stock. No notice was sent out, and I had uploaded over 200 products. My shopping carts were about to be activated.
I had book marked another dropshipper site whose product I had admired. I had had several emails with a representative, so I thought I had better quickly get that shipper. I did not pick this dropshipper before, as they did not have as much inventory. I went through the faxing of several forms they required and was accepted to have an account.
I started to upload their photo icons. There was a final paper they were to email me, making all final. I was told that that paper was emailed to me, but I never received it.
After sending that company several emails asking for the paper, I was met with no response! I never did know what was happening there, but I had to move on… more time had gone by. That was the beginning and end of dropshipper number two. So, 2 down and no. 3 to find. Back to square one.
I had my shopping carts activated after having trouble and time learning to do that. I had been learning how to get traffic to my site, all along. So, had to leave the first photo icons on the site while I scurried to find a dropshipper. I could have had my published site put on hold with my web builder company, but I learned it takes a lot of traffic to click onto your site, before you get an order… I did not go on hold. I did not want to miss-out on the little exposure I was getting on my site.
I was back to searching the web. I did find a dropshipper listed in a review. I spent a lot of nights on the computer. I went through big companies who had big monthly fees. I was paying monthly for my store, for my shopping carts, and was going to be paying for clicks and ads… so I did not want more high payments. I could not stretch my budget that far. After searching and more searching I found one with a reasonable monthly fee, and low handling fee. It had the product that I needed. The only compensation was it was missing one product type I really wanted to have on my site.
I decided that I better get another dropshipper yet, giving me two on the site. I did not want to go through this procedure again (not with this store). I kept up my search a little longer, but now at a slower pace. Well, dropshipper no. 4 was different yet. I think it took one and half months to set-up altogether. The product up-date is sent to me in my email, via live feed data sheets. I had to go through a more extensive credit check, and give-out a lot more information. I was almost ‘pulling my hair' waiting for this one, after having all that happened to me so far. But, this company really had the cameras I really wanted, and no monthly fee, just a low shipping fee.
It did all happen for me, I have a full store. I wanted to take a break, but there is the continued learning about search engine optimization, link popularity, article writing,
Social book marking of articles, etc.
