Wishes Past Three

For the last 3 years my heart has been with Rhona. Actually it has been with Jason, my son and his bride Rhona. She is a cute petite Spanish decent Philippine, still in the Philippines. Finally after many prayers by the families she is arriving at the beginning of September. She will see our summer‘s end here in beautiful British Columbia. If we have an Indian summer, that would be really great.
One wish is for prosperity for the couple. Not just the couple but for 11 year Brittany too, who is waiting for her new mommy. I want all good things for this, my little family. I am happy when I see grandparents win the lottery, and give good portion of their win to the kids. I would do the same.
Those are the wishes & desires for the immediate present. I have wishes, past the amount of three. I have wishes for the rest of the family. I wish prosperity & good health to them. I love those Helen Steiner Rice poems. I used to buy greeting cards with her lovely poetry. I remember parts of one of her poems, entitled Wishes Are Prayers. I wrote a little verse when I was so tired one night, as follows:
A Bedtime Prayer
Dear Father in Heaven …
Forgive my many thoughts, I re- live,
But then … I knew a time
When thoughts were all only mine.
My thoughts go from here to there,
Oh Lord … you know I care
I cannot not pray.
You have filled my heart today,
My mother, my sister, my brother
Oh Lord … and then there`s another.
Tuck these thoughts in tonight,
Make sure everything is alright
Yes, Dear Father … my mind is full.
Lead to pray I feel is Your gentle pull,
Tired … still Your Spirit fills me,
Without … I am a vessel empty.
In Jesus`s name, Amen.
For myself, I pray for prosperity also. I have spent many years as an entrepreneur, the business`s I choose did not work–out for one reason or another. I gained a lot of experience. I am still an entrepreneur with some succss, trying new things, and reinventing myself. I would like to earn my daily bread in that way. I would like those little extras in life. I would like to share them. I Thank the Lord God for my journeys through to good health.

Great to have response from Brianna. It is a very exciting summer for me, all in all. Brittany is coming for summer holidays soon; I have moved to a different town, but not too far away.
