Simple Green Salads – Quick & Easy

It is so important to eat raw food in the winter months. We are so conditioned to think of salad in the summer. We need our raw salads in the winter too. We need to digest our food properly. One can buy a bottle of enzymes like papaya at the health food stores, but these two salads are quickest ones. The more green, the more vitamins too. You can use 2 ingredients, and a dressing, how simple is that.

Dora`s Basic Lettuce Salad

  1. Parts of torn Head lettuce /or other.
  2. 2 boiled Eggs or more sliced and sprinkle with salt & pepper.
  3. Chopped Cucumber, smaller amount (optional).
  4. Onion, tiny diced (optional).
  5. 2 scoops Mayonnaise, or /creamy Salad dressing, to suit.
  6. Paprika (optional).


Lettuce and Tomato Salad

  1. Tear-up and any type of lettuce, or/ use 4 leaves.
  2. Slice tomatoes, lay on top.
  3. Can salt & pepper.
  4. Pour on your favorite Dressing, or not.
  5. Can top with walnut crumbs or /other.
